Prev.section & Custom OSC command

hello
prev.section sends us back to the start of the section (repeat.section?) rather than going back to the start of the previous section.
tried the OSC command “/setlist/jumpBySections -1 force=true” but that does the same thing. Oddly, substituting -1 for -2 actually does what it should. +1 and +2 all work fine
Anyone know about this?
Thx all

Hmm, that shouldn’t happen normally. Could you email me a log package so I can take a closer look? You can create one by opening AbleSet’s status window, clicking the settings icon on the top right, and then selecting “Create Log Package”.

My hunch is that AbleSet isn’t receiving the force parameter correctly. Are you sending force=true as a single string parameter?

I’m looking forward to your reply!

hi Leo

Sorry for the delay

We tried to email you the log file but Gmail had a security issue so we sent it via We Transfer on 340th April - maybe you didn’t get it.

I alsoi try uploading it here, but the system does not “see” zip files. So this time I have shared a new version from our gOogle Drive

Yes, we use force=true and we copy&pasted the text exactly. The behaviour is still as described.

Best wishes

Hey @pilband,

Thanks for uploading your log package! I’ve just managed to reproduce this bug on my machine and included a fix for it in the latest beta: AbleSet 3.0.0-beta.7

Let me know if this works on your end as well

Dear Léo,
Thanks so much for that
When do you think 3.0.0 beta 7 will go live?
We are currently in rehearsal for a summer tour, starts 22nd May
Best wishes

I don’t have a fixed timeline for a production release of AbleSet 3 yet, unfortunately, but I’m aiming for some time this summer. There’s still a lot of improvements to be made and I can’t estimate exactly how long this will take.

Some other customers are already using the AbleSet 3 beta in production and while I’d always advise caution, it might be worth giving it a shot during rehearsals and checking if it works well for your use case.
