AbleSet 3.0.0-beta.7

It’s been a while since the last one!

  • Added an optional setting that makes AbleSet wait for a given time before jumping to a cued song in multi-file projects
  • Added a /devices/showSections command that allows you to show, hide, or toggle the sections of the current song in the setlist view
  • Added a /devices/hideAllSections that collapses all sections in the setlist view
  • Added a pause state to the play button that is shown when pausing playback or when the playhead reaches a +PAUSE section
  • Improved the next/prev song buttons so they flash when a song that comes after or before the current one is cued
  • Fixed AbleSet not reading playback state correctly after loading a song in multi-file projects
  • Fixed notifications about song delay being shown in multi-file projects even if no delay has been set for the given song
  • Fixed force=true parameters not being interpreted correctly in OSC commands sent from MIDI mapping or canvases
  • Fixed windows having a black border on macOS

Hi Leo,
really enjoying the Beta Release so far.
I noticed one issue. Maybe you can help me figure it out.
I use the following attributes on my Chords Track for performance page and want to move over to canvas and build a custom layout:
Chords +LYRICS [chords:red] [small]

That works perfectly fine on the performance page. But when i add the lyrics on my canvas the attributes don’t change anything. Everything stays the same size and color.
Is there a fix for this?

Thanks for your great work!

Hey @Serious, welcome to the forum!

Please excuse my late reply on this issue. I’ve released a new beta version and the attributes now work as expected on my end. Could you try updating to the latest AbleSet beta and check if that fixes the issue for you as well?

If it doesn’t, could you send me your Ableton project file so I can try to reproduce this on my machine? Just the .als file should suffice for this. You can also include a screen recording if you like – that often helps with troubleshooting.

If the files are too large to send via email, you can upload them to my support inbox instead.

I’m looking forward to your reply!

Hi Leo,
edited Message user error in the update process

Now it works perfectly fine after upgrading. Thank you for your support!

Hey @Serious, I’m glad to hear it’s fixed!
