Describe your issue here:

I feel the whole system too sluggish… like few tempos latency, its hard to play in live performnce…

eg: i hit play button, it starts, then a few seconds later i hit stop button, it will stop sometimes inmediatly some times not, but the graphic will delay a few seconds to actually stop

I have seen this before, and recently found the connected device section on settings.

i see lot of latency in other device, but the problem stays even in the local device which “has no latency”

Please fill out these values to make it easier to troubleshoot:

  • OS and Version: windows 11… and samsung tablets
  • Version of AbleSet: ableset 3.25
  • Version of Ableton Live: live 12.2.7

Let’s narrow it down step by step.

Could you double-check these two basics? They’re important, and often the cause:

1) Are you running the latest AbleSet beta or the latest official release?

2) Re-install / update the AbleSet Control Surface in Live (matching the version you’re running).
Sometimes Live is still using an older AbleSet control surface, which can cause exactly this kind of behavior.

To do this:

  • Click AbleSet’s tray icon
  • Click the gear icon
  • Click “Add AbleSet plugin to Ableton”
  • Restart Ableton Live and AbleSet

If the issue persists after that, please create a Log Package from the same gear menu (Create Log Package) and send it here so we can take a closer look.

thank you so much! I erase manually the controller, uninstalled the ableset version and installed again, it works now
