/setlist/jumpToNextSection issue

Hello et thank you for your wonderful work.
The osc command “/setlist/jumpToNextSection” seem to be in inoperand. My localisation is French
video of the issue

  • OS and Version:macOS 15.2
  • Version of AbleSet: 2.7.5
  • Version of Ableton Live: 12.1.5

You’re right, this command doesn’t exist anymore since March 2024 as it wasn’t used often. I’ve forgotten to remove it from the documentation and autocomplete list, but will do that with the next release.

In the meantime, does any of the other section-related commands (e.g. /setlist/jumpToSectionByName work for you instead?

I’ve spent 4-5 hours on this same issues before finding this comment. The /setlist/jumpToSectionName does not work for me either.

I would like to set up my midi controller with a “chorus” trigger, “bridge” trigger, etc. I’ve researched a few slightly more complicated work arounds but if there is a simple option, I prefer it! Thank you!!

Hey @mttjklly, welcome to the forum!

I’ve simplified the commands since the last post, you should now be able to use /setlist/jumpToSection Chorus to jump to the chorus, for example.
