I recently found out: If I have the option “Auto-scroll to the Current Song or Section” active, the setlist jumps back to the currently active song, when the current song is playing and transitions to a new song part.
That makes choosing the next song a little bit more difficult as it could be 
My suggestion would be, that the setlist stays in the given view - the reset to the current song could be through a timer (maybe add given values, like 5, 10, 15 seconds) or a reset button or something. Also it should always jump to the queued song, if there is 2 persons checking for the next song.

I‘m using Set Lists in Canvas and found a similar problem.
Even with Unfold Songs enabled in settings, canvas setlists don‘t automatically unfold - I have to add an OSC command to a button that unfolds a song on start/jump.
And then it doesn’t always follow the current section, so I have to scroll during the show.
Please make canvas setlists as reliable as the performance view

I just tried to reproduce this issue on my end but it works as expected here:
This was using Chrome and AbleSet 3.1.0, but I’ve tested the same in Safari as well and it works there, too. Could you send me a screen recording of what it looks like in your setlist and your Canvas?
