Section Jump Proxy

For our music, when jumping to various sections, it is often necessary to have a special “transition” area at the end (+END) of the song. This is where two sections of audio can be blended using a custom crossfade. So once the crossfade is complete, we then jump back into the actual song section.

But because the crossfade time has put the audio past the actual section start, we need a “jump to” position a few beats after the original section’s start. One solution is to define the original section start by the offset required by the transition crossfade. However…this throws off the lyrics track view in a very unpleasant way. For example, moving the section start to the “offset start” would show, for example, “Chorus 1” starting later than it actually does.

Would it be possible to add section proxy flags: +STARTPROXY and +ENDPROXY to locators? Here’s a short video clip demonstrating this concept:

These proxy locators would be invisible from the Ableset UI. They would simply be jump helpers without cluttering the setlist view or other UI elements in Ableset. Thanks in advance for your consideration. Any other clean offset jump solution would also be welcome.
