Would you consider adding a rotary knob/dial element to Canvas?
I’d find this useful for compact layouts with several parameters, such as pan, FX mix or trim. Ideally, it would offer the same range, step, variable binding and scripting options as the existing Slider, with a label and readable value.
For touch use, relative dragging without a value jump on initial touch would be particularly useful. An optional centered display could also work well for bipolar parameters such as pan.
TouchOSC’s Radial control is a good reference for the idea.
Would anyone else find this useful?
