I’ve been using AbleSet extensively for a short period of time and it’s become an indispensable tool in my setup.
My Request:
Would you consider publishing a public roadmap or at least a high-level overview of planned future features?
Why this would be helpful:
User Planning & Positive Expectations – Users can anticipate upcoming features, adjust workflows accordingly, and maintain positive expectations about the product’s evolution
Understanding the Challenges:
I completely understand that publishing a roadmap comes with trade-offs:
- May limit development flexibility to pivot based on feedback
- Could create unrealistic user expectations about timelines
- Requires ongoing maintenance and communication effort
My Suggestion:
Even a simple “Upcoming Features” section in the docs or changelog with rough timeframes (e.g., “Q3 2025”, “Future”) would be incredibly helpful. No need for detailed timelines—just enough to give users a sense of direction!
