Open two floating windows on the same MacBook?

Hey,

maybe a simple question, however I did not find a solution myself: is it possible to open two floating windows at the same time on the same MacBook?

Macbook is at the drummers position for running the ableton session and all commands during the show (=first floating window).

Now I want to put a second floating window showing lyrics canvas on a second desktop, which is sent via airplay to a teleprompter screen for the singer. Possible? Right now it is always jumping to the first floating window if I click “open floating window” instead of opening a second one.

Obviously I could use a simple browser window, however I do not get rid of the Menu etc., but prefer a very clean “ableset only” fullscreen.

Ideas?

Thanks, Sebastian

Hey @Sebastian,

Currently, you can only open one floating window at a time, but most browsers should allow you to hide all UI elements in fullscreen. On Safari and Chrome, for example, you can do this by making sure View → Always Show Toolbar in Full Screen is unchecked.

Hope this helps!
