Mixer Not Properly working

Issue Description:

Hey everyone. I’m wondering if I can get some assistance with the mixer. 4 of my mixer groups are not properly working. They show up on the mixer but I have no control of the fader. The mute and solo buttons are working properly. It is just the fader I am having issues with. Maybe i’m just doing something wrong with my Ableton setup, but I can’t tell a difference in my setup between the groups that work and the ones that don’t. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Values for easier troubleshooting:

  • OS and Version: (macOS Sequoia 15..17.3)
  • Version of AbleSet: (3.1 beta 3)
  • Version of Ableton Live: (12.3.6)

Thanks for reaching out! To help you better, could you clarify a couple of things?

  • Where are you trying to control the faders? Directly in AbleSet’s Mixer view (via the web UI), through a MIDI controller, or both?
  • What does it look like on your end? For example, are the faders visible but unresponsive when you drag them, or do they move but nothing happens in Ableton?
  • How are the groups set up in Ableton? A quick screenshot of your session/arrangement showing the group tracks would help a lot.

Those details will point us in the right direction!

Hi! I’m trying to control the faders via Ablesets web UI. The faders are visible but when I try to drag them nothing happens. I’m not currently at my computer and wont be for a while (I’m at my day job) but I can provide screen recordings and screenshots when I get home. The groups are set up using a +G: tag

The ones I’m having issues with are

+G:ACOUSTIC

+G:BASS

+G:ELECTRIC

+G:KEYS

The rest of my groups that are formatted the same way are working

So I restarted my Mac and now everything is working properly. I’m not sure why I didn’t think of this before hand. I apologize. Thank you for your time! You guys are doing a great job!
