Quick follow up on this one: as of AbleSet 3.2.0 beta, you can queue songs and sections while playing in multi file projects.
For this to work, the jump mode needs to be set to End of Song, Dynamic, or Manual. So you can preselect the next song during playback, and AbleSet loads it when the current one ends, just like the workflow you had in your single project setup.
If you’d like to try it, you can grab the latest beta here: AbleSet 3.2.0 beta 10. Keep in mind 3.2 requires Live 11 or 12, and since it’s a beta, I’d recommend testing it with your project before taking it on stage.
