Hello! First of all— ableset is the best thing to ever be created thanks for making such an incredible app.
Since updating to the latest release (3.1.1) we have been having an issue where the loop button doesn’t enable or disable the loop in any capacity. No amount of turning on and off again fixes it and then it will start working again magically.
Wondering if there is something we’re doing or if it’s just a bug.
Please fill out these values to make it easier to troubleshoot:
- OS and Version: Mac OS Tahoe 26.1
- Version of AbleSet: 3.1.1
- Version of Ableton Live: Live 10

Thank you for reporting this issue, that sounds like a bug indeed. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to reproduce this on my machines yet, but I’ll look into it.
To troubleshoot this, could you send me a screen recording of the loop button not working on your machine along with a log package that includes your project files? You can create one by opening AbleSet’s status window, clicking the settings icon on the top right, and then selecting “Create Log Package”.
You can upload everything to my support inbox referencing this thread.

Yes I will absolutely do this for you as soon as I can– I’ve downgraded my 2 main machines due to a big event coming up this week. Will grab a third and send this soon.
