Looking to implement OSC commands

I like the amount of options with OSC commands. I was hoping to use them to make macros.

Right now I have softkeys on my mixer sending MIDI notes to my computer which I’m mapping to Start, Stop, etc. in Ableset.

My thought is if there is a program that will receive those midi notes and trigger a chain of OSC commands. Does anyone have recommendations of programs to try? Or other methods of achieving this goal?

Admittedly I don’t know anything about OSC commands but I see a lot of documentation on them, maybe theres a good tutorial as well?

Hey @lpage,

You can do this within AbleSet’s MIDI mapping page. After adding a new mapping, set the function to “Custom OSC”. This will allow you to specify a chain of OSC commands, both to AbleSet and to external OSC servers, that is sent when the mapping is triggered.
