Hey all! I hope this isn’t overlapping with other requests or scripts that have been already built, but I’m looking for help with our current playback rig. We switched over midyear last year to running audio for playback and keyboard rigs with a DirectOut Prodigy, but still kept our PlayAudio1U as a redundant MIDI interface. Because we’re using the Prodigy for audio, we can’t feed a lifesine signal to the PA1U (without messing with aggregate devices in MacOS). We have a lot of MIDI automation in our show file, and ideally we’d like the scene on the PA1U to follow the audio failover from the Prodigy.
An amazing feature would be to build this into Ableset to have one interface follow the scene of another. Is this something that is already possible with scripting? Apologies I haven’t had a lot of spare time to dig into the new scripting features in Ableset 3 as we had to pack up the rig for freight shipment the weekend prior to the release of 3.0.
