Hi Leo!
In my setlist window, I am noticing a discrepancy in the timestamp values for multiple songs and the overall set length. In a set with 1h32m19s length within Ableton’s timeline, Ableset is registering it as a 1h45m49s set length (a 13 minute 30 second difference).
Different songs have tempo automation and time signature changes in their arrangement, so at first I wondered if that contributed to the issue. But there’s other songs with a static tempo and time signature that aren’t registering a correct timestamp.
Have you noticed this? I can provide some screenshots when I’m back at my laptop, but thought I’d ask in case you had suggestions.
Thank you in advance for your help!
- macOS Sequoia 15.5
- AbleSet 2.7.5
- Ableton Live 12.2.1
Hey Kyle,
Thanks for reaching out!
When you’re back at your laptop, could you please send:
• A screenshot of the Setlist window showing the durations
• A screenshot of the corresponding area in Ableton’s Arrangement View
Also, could you please make sure you’re running the latest version of AbleSet and let me know if the issue still occurs after updating?
I’m looking forward to your reply!
Hi @agustinvolpe, thanks for the reply. Now I’m not seeing the issue. Fired up the computers today, all timestamps are accurate with the same session. Strange.
I’m running 2.7.1, and in the middle of a tour, so I’m hesitant to update until we wrap. But if I see the issue again, I’ll update here with screenshots.
Thanks again!
Hey Kyle,
Thanks for the update, glad to hear it’s behaving normally again!
I totally understand not wanting to update in the middle of a tour.
That said, I’d still recommend updating when you get a chance. Since 2.7.1, there have been quite a lot of bug fixes and improvements.
Of course the decision is entirely yours, especially while you’re on the road, but from a support perspective I’d definitely recommend running the latest version when possible.
If the issue appears again, feel free to send the screenshots and we can take a closer look.
