I am sending midi information on channel 4 to the HX. Program changes for presets and midi notes for snapshots. This works as should most of the time, but sometimes the HX will not change preset according to the program change on first loading a project. After stoping playback, the cursor returning to start, and then starting playback again, the PC changes work. I have tried prolonging the midiclip with the PC over a few bars and chopping the midiclips up i 4th notes.
I know this is not ableset-specific, but something i need fixed for the multi-project to work. Has anyone encountered this kind of problem?
Unfortunately, Live only sends PC when the playhead reaches a clip while Live is playing. To work around this, if you’re able to use Max for Live, you can use a device I’ve built. I’ve explained it here:
