I’m super keen for 2.8.0 release with the group tracks. It’s gonna be able to replace using touch osc bridge and sending midi commands when I need to sound check.
Is it stable enough to use live now or is it releasing soon?
Many thanks!

Hey @CharlesM1725, I personally use the beta versions of AbleSet on stage and haven’t had any issues with them. However, I’d still recommend thoroughly testing them in your setup during rehearsals before using them live.
If you’re on macOS, you can install AbleSet 2.7.5 and the 3.0.0 beta side by side and switch between them. This allows you to test the beta without fully committing to using it live.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions
Thanks @leolabs ! Are they just 2 apps that I can launch independantly on mac?
That’s correct! When you drag the AbleSet beta into your Applications folder, you can decide to keep your existing installation of AbleSet. The beta version will then be named “AbleSet 2”, but you can rename it to “AbleSet Beta” if you prefer
Oh sweet! Yeah I my main benefit would just be ease of soundcheck so could use beta to soundcheck then switch back to official 2.7 release. Thanks Leo!
