Having a single track ignore the "transpose" option

I have six songs and would like one of the tracks to show the lyrics with chords transposed for the guitar players that will capo. I would also like to have one track that ignores that and shows the original key for our bass and keys player. Is this possible? Right now I have a “[-2]” on the song locator and then in a duplicated chords track , I put a “[+2]” and it did go back to the original key but this will only work for this one song as the next one is transposed “[+5]” for our guitarists. Let me know if there is already a way to accomplish this that I am missing. Thank you!

That shouldn’t be too hard to add. I’ll add a [nosongtranspose] attribute that you can append to a track name to have the track ignore the song’s transpose value

I would find this very useful also, for the same reasons (bass player vs guitar player using capo). Thank you

As a workaround in the meantime, for the only band I play in where this is an issue I created two tracks one called “CHORDS” and one called “CAPO”.

On the songs where the guitar player doesn’t use a capo I just copy the same MIDI clips to both tracks. On the songs where he uses a capo I just go through and transpose it myself in the MIDI clips. It really doesn’t take me that long, maybe a few minutes per song. I can then add a clip at the beginning of the CAPO track with the capo position as a reminder.

That way I don’t have to mess with using [+/-#] commands and all anyone has to do is select which track they want to view in their performance mode CHORDS or CAPO and they are good for the whole night.
