Hey everyone!
With the release of AbleSet 3 coming closer, I’ve taken some time to think about a new pricing strategy that I’d like to discuss with you all. As AbleSet 3 covers a broad spectrum of features, I’m planning on splitting it into three editions – Intro, Standard, and Pro.
My thinking behind this is that many AbleSet users don’t need the advanced features of AbleSet so it wouldn’t make sense for them to pay the same price as pro users.
Here are the three plans:
AbleSet Intro
- Can be activated on one computer
- Setlist management
- Multi-file Projects
- Built-in MIDI-mapping
- Guide Tracks
- One lyrics track
- Performance view
AbleSet Standard
- Can be activated on two computers
- All features of AbleSet Intro plus:
- Unlimited lyrics tracks
- AbleNet for redundancy
- Support for redundant audio interfaces (iConnectivity, DirectOut, DAD)
- Web App Password
- OSC Control from other apps and devices
- Max for Live Controller
- Stream Deck Support
- Custom Styles and Scripts
AbleSet Pro
- Can be activated on three computers
- All features of AbleSet Standard plus:
- Timecode with LTC Display (included)
- OSC Tracks for sending OSC to other devices
- Scripting Features (Project Script, MIDI Mapping)
- Track Groups / Mixer for controlling multiple tracks
- Canvas for creating custom control surfaces
All existing AbleSet 2 licenses will be migrated to AbleSet 3 Pro as a thank you for your support.
I’d be interested in what you think these three editions should cost. Here’s a link to the pricing survey if you’d like to participate: AbleSet 3 Pricing Survey
