Hey, we are using Ableton for Backing Tracks in our Live performance and quite often we want to have a smooth transition between to songs. Because sometimes we want to start the next song during the outro of the song before. So it would be helpfull to have an extension to the Jump Locator which could be something like: „when you reach the Locator, jump to the next Song but do something like a cross fade. So fade out the next 2 bars comming after the locator in the original song and fade in the first to bars comming after the locator in the next song (fade at the same time). This would be great and very helpfull

Unfortunately, as AbleSet can only control the playhead of Live, I can’t add any crossfade features.
However, you can build these kinds of fades yourself if you like. For example, you could create a new transition song that contains the fade from song A to song B and then add that to your setlist.
