I would like to have a video loop in my set that plays when each song ends.
My intended use is to have a moving logo video looping on the screen when were not playing. Each song will have its own video that will play during the songs. When a song ends, I want it to auto play the video loop. I saw a youtuber mention this but I can’t find any details.
Ableset is INCREDIBLE. Thank you!!

“The only way I’ve figured out is to run Ableset on Ableton to control the setlist and make a default looping video. After every song ends, you can get it to jump to the default video. That way you can change the setlist order and still have that video”
Hey @trixdropd, welcome to the forum!
As @CharlesM1725 suggested, QLab is indeed a solid solution for video looping.
Adding to this, in case you’d like to do this entirely within AbleSet, you can achieve it by creating dedicated “video loop” songs in your setlist.
Enable Autoplay in AbleSet’s settings, then place the video-loop songs after each of your regular songs. Flag their sections with +LOOPFULL so they keep looping while you’re idle between songs.
When you exit the loop (manually or via a controller), AbleSet will jump to the next song in the setlist.
Hope that helps!

I tried this and it’s good in theory. If I have 20 songs, I need 20 of the same intermission video after each song which is a clutter fest. is there no way to have one “song” with a video that loops, and have it called up after each song ends?
If I could add a song to the same setlist more than once it seems like it would work.
qlab is super expensive and I’d like to not buy MORE software if I don’t have to. I’m just running static videos on our songs and want a moving logo displayed whn the song stops. Seems simple.
Thanks again for the awesome ideas and app
