Hey Leo, I’m noticing a possible bug with the cues, though it’s also possible I don’t have my settings right. Most of the songs in my ableton project are set up with a 2-measure count-in at the top. But sometimes for the sake of a quicker and smoother transition, I want to shorten that count-in to one measure. I usually accomplish this by simply moving the song start locator forward one measure. I’m noticing the when I do this, the intro cue doesn’t trigger. I’ve tried adjusting the global cues settings, as well as using the section-specific annotation to change the count-in to 1-bar, but it’s still not playing that first count-in measure of cues at the top of the song. Any advice?

I just tried to reproduce the issue on my end but couldn’t manage to. If there’s only space for a 1-bar count-in, AbleSet should automatically use a 1-bar count-in even if the settings are set to a 2-bar count-in.
To troubleshoot this, could you send me a video of the issue on your machine along with a log package including your project file so I can take a closer look at what’s going wrong? You can create one by opening AbleSet’s status window, clicking the settings icon on the top right, and then selecting “Create Log Package”.
You can then upload everything to my support inbox.

I think I found the cause for this. When the song locator comes after the song’s first section clip, that section isn’t seen as part of the song anymore, but rather of the previous song, and AbleSet doesn’t cue a count-in at the end of it.
I’ll release a bug fix for this with the next update. In the meantime, trimming the section clip so it starts at the beginning of the song should do the trick
