CUES: Even with +SKIP designator, last section of song still announced/counted

Hi all,

The new cues feature is fantastic. I’ve set it up with my Mac’s Siri voice, which sounds really natural and will read whatever I type in the songs/sections.

I wanted to report a behavioral quirk, find out whether it’s intentional, and ask if there’s a different workaround. If the last section of any song has the +SKIP designator in the clip, the new Cues plugin still announces and counts that skipped section. From what I can tell, it only happens when it’s the last section of the song. I’ve been inserting a 1-bar “Vamp” section at the end of every song so that, if needed, the band can escape the song structure and jump into “free play” with the click as needed. I use both the +SKIP and +LOOP designators for this section clip, described in more detail on this other thread.

My current workaround is to enter the text “[c:0]” into the title of the vamp clip at the end of every song. This prevents the Vamp section from being announced (ever). However, but it would be nice if this section was able to be announced when it’s actually triggered — but not when it’s skipped, as usual.

Screen recording attached. Any ideas? Thanks!
