I have a MultiFile project on an M4 MacBook Air. Sometimes I run into a problem where the cues suddenly stop working. This usually happens when I restart everything or when I switch songs in the Playback view. But it doesn’t always happen—it’s more a matter of chance. It does start working again if I go into a locator, make a change, save it, change it back, and save it again. Sometimes it’s just that the cues in Ableton show the correct information when I click on the sections, but not when I play them back. Sometimes this only happens when playing back directly from Ableton.
Errors occur regardless of the TTS model.
Before we dig deeper, could you try the latest beta and let me know if it still happens there? You can find it here.
If the issue still occurs on the beta, it would be really helpful to get a Log Package — please create it right after reproducing the issue, so the relevant events are still in the logs.
You can create a log package by opening AbleSet’s icon tray, clicking the gear icon, and then selecting “Create Log Package”.
Please make sure to include your project files as well (just the .als files, no audio needed).
To send the files, you can upload them to AbleSet’s support inbox.
I just connected Ableset to an ElevenLabs API key. It works—the voices are displayed and the phrases are generated. But when I play them back, nothing happens. It still works with the “normal” voices, but not with the ElevenLabs voices.
Hey @Flo, thank you for reporting this! Could you send me a log package so I can take a closer look?
You can create one by opening AbleSet’s status window, clicking the settings icon on the top right, and then selecting “Create Log Package”. Please include project files so I can try to reproduce the issue on my end, then upload the package to my support inbox, referencing this thread.
