Companion Actions based on Local Variables

Is there any way for the Companion plug-in to be able to support Local Variables for its actions? The Use Case is that I want to have AbleSet Jump to a Song by Name, but it seems the field needs to be the text of the song name. I would like that field to be based on a variable triggered from ProPresenter, so that when I select a presentation in ProPresenter, it will tell AbleSet to open that song with the matching name, however variables from ProPresenter don’t work in the AbleSet Action fields.

Thank you for reporting this! I’ve just pushed a new version of the Companion module that supports variables in actions that take text inputs. It’s pending approval and should be available in a few days :slight_smile:

Once I have this set up, I’ll record a video of what I’m trying to do, which is have our media team pick a song in ProPresenter, and AbleSet loads the song and starts playing without ever touching that computer, which is fantastic automation for a small team. I currently have the opposite working where playing a song in AbleSet will automatically pull up the song and slides in ProPresenter without touching it.
