I’ve put together a chord pack for AbleSet that might be useful if you’re building a chord track.
(I recommend you extract the zip file inside your User Library).
This pack comes in ChordPro format, with each chord saved as its own .alc file, so you can simply drag the chords from the folders in Live’s browser directly into your tracks. It includes the most common chord symbols you’ll typically find in charts:
- Majors, minors, 7ths, maj7, m7, diminished, half-diminished
- Extensions like add9, maj9, m9, 9
- Altered chords such as augmented and 7#5
- Plus some common slash chords.
Of course, you can always add your own and customize it to your needs, but I think this gives a solid starting point for anyone setting up chords in AbleSet.
