Changed my email address since purchasing. Can't log in to install - can't receive verification email

Describe your issue here:

I had Ableton and AbleSet installed on 2 Windows machines. One of those was stolen. Now trying to move off the Windows platform. Step 1 - Install on first MacBook. Step 2 - Ableton Live is installed. Step 3 - Install Ableset.
Problem: I abandoned my old email address (dave@TBDreno.com) that I originally used to purchase Ableset. I now can’t log in to Ableset.app because I can no longer receive a verification email at that address. How do I proceed??
New email address is: Dave@papaclutch.com

Need info (& help) ASAP. Thank you.

Please fill out these values to make it easier to troubleshoot:

  • OS and Version: (macOS Sequoia 15.6.1)
  • Version of AbleSet: 2.5.7 on my Windows machine. trying to install on new MacBook Pro
  • Version of Ableton Live: (e.g. 11.3.43)

Hey Dave,

I’ve already updated your account and changed the email address to dave@papaclutch.com, so you should now be able to log in normally.

Once you’re logged in, you can also deactivate the license from the machine that was stolen directly from your account if you’d like to free up that activation.

If you prefer, feel free to send me a DM and I can also help you take care of the deactivation remotely.

Thanks for doing that for me! Also, I apparently need to download the older version that my account is authorized for. How do I do that?

I logged into my account and found how & where to download my current authorized version. I don’t have access to my email from the macbooks I will be using for Ableton/AbleSet, so I tried creating a passkey for logging in. I haven’t finished that whole process yet, but I will be working on that today.
The laptop that was stolen is the one called “DESKTIO-508VPRV” can you please delete that device from my activations? Thank you.

Sorry - that device is called DESKTOP-508VPRV.

Hey Dave,

Thanks for the update.

I’ve now deactivated the device called “DESKTOP-508VPRV” from your activations, so you should be all set.

Let me know if you need anything else!
