I have a Canvas setup to display Lyrics and Set Time Remaining for our artist. This is setup as an external display from my third laptop, which is displaying Canvas in Google Chrome. I also have Safari running the same Canvas on the main screen, so that I can monitor it during the show.
My issue is that the external screen and my main screen show different things at the start ofg every song, while waiting for the Play command. The external screen (running Chrome) seems to show as expected - the current song loaded and waiting a play command. The main display (running Safari) shows the END of the current loaded song, and the “Next song:” header. Lyrics on this screen only jump back to the correct position when it reaches the first lyric of the song.
Could this be a browser mismatch issue? If so, should I be running another Chrome window on the main display rather than Safari?
The reason I’m running Safari on the main display is because I have Chrome set to default load on the external screen.
