Add delay to a canva's

Hello there! I was wondering if there’s a way to put a delay in a canva’s not only the lyrics part.
I have the visual metronome and it’s nearly one beat dragging, so it would be great to see that in a future! thanks for all!

Thanks for reaching out! Just to make sure I understand correctly: are you saying the Visual Metronome feels like it’s one beat behind the actual beat?

Also, is this something you’re trying to compensate for (like a display latency on a screen or network delay), or does it feel like the metronome just isn’t in sync with the music?

For context: AbleSet does have a time delay feature for Lyrics tracks (e.g. adding [+150ms] or [-1n] to the track name), but there’s currently no equivalent for Canvas elements or the Visual Metronome.

Yes, that’s right. Due to display latency on a screen, there’s a delay in the visual metronome. I use the delay feature for lyric tracks, and it works perfectly, so I thought maybe it’s something you could implement in the future.

Hey @odeharo,

I understand where you’re coming from. Unfortunately, since the delay is introduced by the display hardware itself, there’s no way to compensate for it on AbleSet’s end right now, as the Visual Metronome element doesn’t have an offset option like Lyrics tracks do.
