  • Added a new spacer style and the ability to disable spacers using a track attribute (docs)
  • Added spacer clips for manually inserting spacers with different styles

  • Fixed text lines with the progress styles being stuck sometimes when jumping around the set

  • Added a new “Delay” setting to the Lyrics element that allows you to shift time by a given number of beats or milliseconds (docs)

  • Fixed playhead position not updating correctly in the web app when jumping around the project while paused
  • Fixed settings navigation buttons being visible when Navigation Lock is enabled

Per-device timing offset for Canvas Lyrics

Just downloaded it and tried it. I’m currently in the middle of adding lyrics to some songs. For some reasons they won’t always update in the browser but rather show the next sections. Could this have something to do with duplicating / copying a text clip to a different section?

Can’t really re-produce the bug as this does not always happen. Restarted Ableton und Ableset and the Mac.

@TinoSchulz thank you for reporting this issue! Did you also notice this with previous betas?

Some changes to track clips aren’t reported by Live, so AbleSet always does a full refresh when you select another track after the lyrics track was selected. Could you check if that works as a workaround?

3.2.0 Beta 9 is the first beta after using the official releases for a few months. Decided to try the beta to try out the new voice features later.

Yes, i “downgraded” to beta 8 to see if that fixes it, but it didn’t.
Selecting another track didn’t refresh the lyrics. They rather jump across sections, even tho Ableton is stopped at the moment. I checked my WiFi but i got very good signal and no network lag and very good ping.

I’ll switch back to the latest official release and check back on the beta, after finishing my work on the project. :folded_hands:

If this keeps happening, could you send me a log package so I can take a closer look? You can create one by opening AbleSet’s status window, clicking the settings icon on the top right, and then selecting “Create Log Package”. You can then upload it so my support inbox.

Using the beta 9 a few days now. Works like a charm for me. No issues with any labeling, the groups losing their tracks or Ableton not communicating with Ableset. Good job from my side!

Looks like Ableset isn’t happy about duplicating / renaming midi clips in lyrics tracks. They don’t get properly updated (or sometimes don’t even show up in general).

Excited to try this out when I’m back home! The lyrics dots always throws people out during live band karaoke so the progress bar is gonna be huge for us :folded_hands::tada:
