AbleSet 3.2.0-beta.6

Canvas

  • Added the ability to set all toggle element settings dynamically using a template
    • This allows you, for example, to lock the setlist depending on certain conditions or zoom the song progress bar in for certain sections of a song
  • Added a new ⌘ A shortcut to select all elements
  • Added the ability to move selected elements using arrow keys
    • Hold shift to move elements by 10px instead of 1px
  • Added some metadata to copied elements so they can be pasted and previewed here in the forum
  • Improved the selection behavior, so you can now select elements under the existing selection box and toggle the selection of elements by shift-clicking them
  • Improved the display behavior of element labels to avoid a flash of text that is too big or too small
  • Decreased the minimum window size for the editor to work
  • Made icon buttons a bit smaller to align the design with selects and toggles

Mixer

  • Fixed +GROUP: not working for marking tracks
  • Fixed track groups not being available as mixer groups
  • Fixed issues with tracks disappearing from the mixer sometimes

General

  • Fixed an issue when trying to get the current version of Live when using a beta version of Live

I’ve noticed some weird behavior with cues in the 3.2.0-beta5 and 3.2.0-beta6. I can’t quite narrow it down to one thing specifically but it usually happens after I move things around the timeline whether that be locators or the whole set/song. The cues appear to get out of alignment and will start sporadically going off while playing and it seems to happen more when I am clicking around the timeline while playback is active. Again, I haven’t been able to pinpoint it yet, but it appears to be a bug. It’s happened on both an intel and M-series Macs. Both on latest Ableton version and on Tahoe (26.6 I think).

And if I move things around it appears to ignore the stop locators but appears to stop eventually during the middle of the next song as though a ghost locator is still there (this happened once so far).

Hey @iamderkis, thank you for reporting this!

If this happens again, could you send me a screen recording along with a log package so I can try to reproduce it? You can upload both to my support inbox.

This appears to have been fixed in the 3.2.0 beta 7 update. Haven’t tested on beta 8 yet!
