This beta introduces a new setlist format. Changes made to the setlist with this beta aren’t shown on older versions of AbleSet, just keep that in mind when trying out this beta. Also, since this is a big change, you might experience bugs related to the setlist management. If you find any, please let me know!
Here’s a video showing the most important new setlist features:
Setlist
- Added the ability to add headings to the setlist
- Headings split the setlist into multiple parts and display the number of songs and the duration of the part
- Added the ability to add notes to the setlist
- Notes can have a custom color and a duration which is added to the setlist’s total duration
- Notes following a song with a stop behave the same way as stop descriptions did before, and you can toggle whether they should be announced using the Cues feature per note
- Added the ability to add the same song to the setlist multiple times
- Added a new button to insert songs or other elements at any point in the setlist
- Added the duration of songs to the search dialog
- Added a placeholder that is shown when the setlist is empty
- Improved the song search dialog so you don’t have to re-open it after every element that you add to the setlist
- Improved the text setlist import from the clipboard to be more forgiving with different kinds of apostrophes and other additions to song titles
- Fixed remaining times flickering when jumping between songs
- Fixed song durations not showing up after loading a new project until the setlist is saved again
- Fixed the dot stop notation two songs after the current song deciding whether to stop after the current song
- Fixed playback stopping or jumping when the playhead reaches the first locator in the arrangement view while playing
- Fixed stop delays being added to the song duration even when they’re inactive because playback stops at the end of the song
- Fixed song settings being tied to the position of locators instead of their names
Cues
- Fixed the song title of the next song overriding the stop description of the previous song when “Auto-Jump to the Next Song” is enabled

[c:0]stopping all further processing of attributes
