Cues

  • Added the ability to define a Cues attribute on song locators that is then applied to all sections
    • This can still be overridden per section
  • Added support for half-time count-ins ([c:1:half])
  • Improved count-ins by using numbers (1, 2, 3, 4) instead of English words (one, two, three, four) to generate speech
    • This makes AbleSet Cues work with non-English text-to-speech models
    • English words (one, two, three, etc.) are still accepted in the “custom” folder

This version also includes all fixes from AbleSet 3.0.9.

3.1 has been great, but is there a way to disable loop calls on specific loops? I have a 1 bar pre-loop in front of most songs and the constant loop 2 3 4 gets a bit annoying ::rofl::

Thanks for the amazing work on the cues function. Many bugs are already solved. There’s still a bug that when there’s a 1 bar song section there’s a slight delay in the cue. I attached a video. Hope you can fix this!

Also, I’d like the cues track to announce the song title, but it has to say the title and the section at the same time as there is sometimes only one bar count in before the intro. I don’t really have an idea what could be a solution to this, maybe the option to disable section names for the first bar, so in this case it would be “Smoke, 2, 3, 4”, but this also has some downsides. Maybe you or others have better ideas about this!

I just released a few new beta versions that should address the delay issues with one-bar sections.

@jzf I added a :noloop or :nl attribute that allows you to disable loop count-ins on specific sections. Loop count-ins are now also muted if the loop is less than twice as long as the count-in to prevent it from becoming too annoying.
