Hi Leo! Is it possible to add mixer to the canvas?

Hey @GOODSHOW, this isn’t possible yet, but I’m working on it

Hi Leo, might I suggest adding the round Interface Scene indicator from Performance view as an element/template that can be put on Canvases? I know one could make a set of buttons using OSC to indicate and switch scenes - but the existing clickable indicator which pops up the switcher panel is still the better solution for me!

Hello Leo,
great work again! And I´m looking forward for the official release of AbleSet 3.

I just found a little bug in the beta4.

I´m using AbleSet in Multi-File Project mode and I added to all my songs a color tag in filename.

The actual beta does not show the colors in setlist mode.

@njrsound that’s a good idea! I’ll add both the indicator and the pop-up menu as elements to the canvas

@Michael_Sommerer good catch! I’ve implemented a fix and will release it with the next beta

@leolabs thank you so much!

I found another one :innocent:
But this also happens with 2.7.4

I´m actually a “PowerUser” cause I´m arranging 250 Songs for a CoverBand with Ableton an AbleSet. :grimacing:

After about half an hour working with the lyricsprojection in multiprojectmode, the lyrics page shows up the songstructure of the last song, but with the right chords of the actual song. And also the wrong Songname. (see in pictures)

After a restart of AbleSet it works for about 3 or 4 song. Then the same happens again.

LogFile is send by mail…

Thank you for reporting this, that’s an interesting bug! Could you send me a log package including the project files so I can try to reproduce this on my end?

@agustinvolpe recently reported a similar issue where AbleSet was stuck on the previous song when jumping to the next song, and I have a feeling that it might be correlated with the issue you’re seeing.

Hi Leo!

First of all what an amazing work you have done👏🏻🫶🏻

  1. Is it possible to make the elements in mixer mode (Faders, Buttons) detect as MIDI signals inside Ableton? That Could Help the problem of faders exceeding OdB by MIDI mapping.

  2. It would be great if you could add a db meter on the fader

  3. Also in Canvas Mode the loop button turns on when pressed once, and nothing happens if pressed again.

Hey. As always: Great job.
Last gig i noticed one of my songs constantly blinking green which really irritated me.
Did i accidentally push a wrong button, is that a feature? Or what did i do wrong? I couldn’t make it go away for some reasons.
Or is this a settings-thing that i overlooked?
Happened on this beta with a MacMini M4 Pro / MacOS Sequoia 15.3.2 in setlist view. (+ in my custom canvas’ setlist)

Hey @TinoSchulz, that might be a bug. As a workaround, I’ve released an update today which allows you to cancel a queued jump by pressing the queued song again in the setlist view.

Hey @AmeeshainfinitySL, welcome to the forum, I’m glad you like the beta version!

Regarding your feedback:

Not yet, but this is already on my todo list. Here’s a post I made a few days ago about what this could look like: AbleSet 3.0.0-beta.3 - #10 by leolabs

I’m not sure if I have access to dB values of the audio signals, but I’ll see what I can do

That sounds like a bug! I’ll try to reproduce this tomorrow and will include a fix for it in the next beta.

Let me know if you have any further questions or feedback!

Hey @AmeeshainfinitySL, unfortunately I haven’t been able to reproduce the loop toggle issue yet. If this is something you can reliably reproduce on your end, could you send me a video showing this behavior along with a log package?

You can create one by opening AbleSet’s status window, clicking the settings icon on the top right, and then selecting “Create Log Package”.

If the files are too large to send via email, you can upload them to my support inbox instead.
