Ableset 2.5.7: Toggle Click Solo via Midi Controller not working

I connected a KORG Nanopad 2 as Midi Controller. Everything works fine except the function “Toggle Click Solo”. When I press the button, to which I have assigned “Toggle Click Solo” for the first time, the click is soloed, but the second buttton press does not switch off the solo.
I assiged 1 button to “Click Solo on” and another button to “Click Solo off”. That works.
Has anybody seen a similar issue? Is it probably fixed in V3?

Hey @keymanHB, welcome to the forum!

Thanks for reporting this. Just to add some context: since AbleSet 2.7.5 there have been quite a few fixes.

I was able to reproduce a similar behavior with Toggle Click Solo in 2.7.5, and I’ve already passed this on to @leolabs so he can take a closer look.

I also tested this in the latest AbleSet 3 beta, and the toggle behaves as expected there.

If you’re up for it, I’d suggest giving the current beta a quick try and letting us know if it works correctly on your setup as well. That would be very helpful feedback.

In the meantime, if you’d prefer not to stick to a beta version just yet, your workaround using separate “Click Solo On” / “Click Solo Off” mappings is perfectly valid.

Let me know how it goes!

Hey, thanks for the prompt reply. Good to hear that you could reproduce the problem and even already fixed it. I don’t want to install a beta version on our production system. I will wait for the V3 release. Until then I can live with the workaround, Using “Click Solo on/off”.
