Hey @Adam_Molinaro!
Since beta 22, you no longer need to keep the M4L controller in your Live session to use the visual metronome.
AbleSet will first look for a Measures track in the song. If there isn’t one, it falls back to the Max for Live device (if present), and as a last resort it uses the project’s time-signature information.
All you need to do is enable the Visual Metronome in Performance View — and optionally in Setlist View as well if you want it visible in the bottom-left corner as a reference.
