Ver 2.5.4 not working correctly with Stream Deck variables

  • OS and Version: Windows
  • Version of AbleSet: (e.g. 2.5.4)
  • Version of Ableton Live: (e.g. 11.3.10)

I upgraded to 2.5.4 and on my Stream Deck, the variables for Active Song, song index, etc. no longer is working. When I go back to 2.5.3 it works correctly. Also my song buttons do not light up when selected.

I just released AbleSet 2.5.5 which should fix this issue.

Yes, the song name is now right om 2.5.5. However, the ActiveSectionName and ActiveSectionIndex not working.
Software is a bitch, ha ha.

Hmm, that’s strange, they seem to be working on my end. Have you tried restarting Companion to check if that makes a difference?

If you like, you can send me a video of the issue, that often helps with troubleshooting. Also, you can send me a log package if you like so I can take a look under the hood. You can create one by clicking on “Create Log Package” in AbleSet’s settings menu.

When I upgraded to the latest beta version of companion, then it's working again.

ps. I have been singing at nursing homes and displaying lyrics with Ableset on their tv while I sing. They love it. This week I had one man who is 97 years old and is a WW-II veteran. He is still very active.
