How colour functionality works in a locator vs midi sections +cc

Just trying to figure out how I can colour simply just the title of a song, but still have sections coloured based on whatever colour I have chosen for the ‘Section’s midi clip’

When I do a [Square bracket] colour on the locator, it overwrites any colours that I have put on the MIDI clip

When the playhead reaches that MIDI clip the colour then changes to what is set on the MIDI clip.

I don’t know if this functionality is on purpose? It almost creates like a ‘section checked off and complete’ kind of feature.
Song Title [Red]
Each MIDI section coloured green
When playhead reaches each section it then turns green.

macOS Monterey Version 12.7.3
Ableset 2.6.6

As I mentioned it does create a kind of cool effect where when you reach the start of a section it changes colour - so I guess if ultimate customisability is the goal then maybe some people would like that as a colour feature option :man_shrugging:

Maybe when you reach the end of a section it changes colour is more useful

Thanks for your hard work Leo, have said it before but this really unlocked Ableton for me as a DAW!
