Hello AbleSet community,

I’ve been exploring AbleSet and wanted to share a feature idea that could make the platform even more flexible for users.

:light_bulb: Customizable Dashboard

It would be great if users could personalize their workspace by adding and arranging widgets based on their needs. Some ideas include:

  • Drag-and-drop dashboard customization

  • Quick access to frequently used tools and projects

  • Favorite items or shortcuts section

  • Progress and activity overview

  • Custom themes, layouts, and widget sizes

  • Option to save multiple dashboard layouts for different workflows

A personalized dashboard could help users access important information faster while creating a more efficient and enjoyable experience.

Has anyone else wanted more control over the dashboard layout? I’d love to hear what customization features would improve your workflow the most.

Most of what you’re describing already exists in AbleSet as Canvas (available in AbleSet Pro).

Canvas lets you build completely custom views by freely placing and resizing elements on screen.
You can also see this in action in the official tutorial.
