I had turned this off previously, but it’s back on after an update and I can’t figure out/remember how I got it to turn off before.

To hide Next Song, just click the gear icon in the Lyrics View.
That will open this menu, where you can disable “Show Next Song.”

Yes, each view has its own custom menu with independent settings, all accessible from the gear icon
