DirectOut ACE Playback Mode support?

Hi,
we are planning a future redundant two-Mac AbleSet/AbleNet playback rig using a DirectOut ACE in Playback Mode / PLAYBACK Path, with one USB.MADI module per Mac. The current AbleSet documentation lists DirectOut EXBOX.MD, PRODIGY and MAVEN.A, but not ACE.

Does AbleSet currently support ACE in Playback Mode? If not, is support planned?

Would this integration require PRODIGY Mode or a separate DirectOut OSC license, and can AbleSet follow or trigger the ACE Main/Backup scene?

Hey @Tabora,

AbleSet doesn’t support ACE yet, but I’m in contact with DirectOut and working on integrating it. You can choose the Playback license pack when purchasing the device, which includes the Full Routing and EARS licenses required for this to work.

You won’t need a separate OSC license, and AbleSet will be able to monitor and control the Main/Backup scenes.
