Devices Page

  • Added a new Devices page that combines the AbleNet page with a list of connected browsers, audio interfaces, and OSC clients
    • This page allows you to remote-control AbleSet on connected browsers, show cue lights and messages on their screens, change the page they display, and reload the page in case something goes wrong

Setlist

  • Addressed issues with songs losing metadata when their locators were moved, especially when multiple locators share the same name
  • Fixed locators named “0” being seen as an automatically placed locator
  • Fixed remaining setlist time changing while playing a song that isn’t part of the setlist

Cues

  • Improved the timing of count-ins
  • Lowered the volume of cues by 3 dB to leave a bit of headroom
  • Moved the VST installation process into the app startup so updates can be installed before Live has started
  • Changed the behavior of loop attributes, so you can now set them on the actual section instead of the next section
  • Fixed loop attributes not being respected on song locators

Canvas

  • Addressed a bug where some of the canvases wouldn’t show up in the canvas list unless the files were modified while AbleSet was running, caused by multiple files sharing the same “Date Created”

OSC

  • Added new /devices OSC values to get information about the current status of connected browsers (docs)
  • Added new /setStatus and /setWebLink OSC commands that OSC clients can use to customize how they’re displayed on the Devices page
  • Ensured that grouped OSC values are updated in parallel instead of after one another so you can always be sure you’re reading the latest OSC values

General

  • Improved the description of the “Safe Mode” setting
  • Improved the browser titles of Lyrics and Canvas pages
  • Fixed AbleSet not auto-starting Ableton Live on macOS even if the setting is enabled
  • Fixed the settings layout being a few pixels too narrow on Safari
